Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of stackzio.inand the web development, design, and related services provided by StackZio ("we", "our", "us"), a Parbhani-based studio operating in India. By engaging us or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We offer custom web development services including:

  • Business websites and landing pages
  • Shopify store setup, theme customization, and development
  • Portfolio websites and personal sites
  • College and academic project development
  • SEO, performance optimization, and post-launch maintenance

Scope, deliverables, and timelines are agreed in writing for each project before work begins.

2. Engagement & pricing

Each project starts with a free consultation followed by a detailed written quote. Prices listed on stackzio.in are starting prices; final pricing depends on scope, complexity, and add-ons.

Standard payment structure unless otherwise agreed:

  • 50% advance after quote approval — work begins.
  • 50% on delivery — paid only after you have reviewed and approved the final build.
  • For larger projects (₹50,000+) we use milestone-based payments at design, development, and launch stages.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and exclusive of GST where applicable.

3. Revisions

Each plan includes a defined number of revision rounds during the design and development phases (specified in your quote). Beyond that, additional revisions are billed at hourly or fixed rates agreed in advance.

We offer unlimited free revisionson agreed scope items until you're satisfied. Out-of-scope changes (e.g. adding new pages, features, or major redesigns mid-project) are quoted separately.

4. Delivery timelines

Indicative timelines:

  • Landing pages: 5 business days
  • Business websites: 7–14 business days
  • Shopify stores: 14–21 business days
  • Custom / large-scope projects: as agreed in writing

Timelines begin once we receive all required content, brand assets, and the advance payment. Delays caused by missing client input do not count against our delivery window.

5. Money-back guarantee

If we cannot meet your requirements after multiple revision rounds, we offer a money-back guarantee on the unused portion of work delivered. This applies only to clearly-scoped items agreed in the original quote.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Work already completed and approved.
  • Cancellations after design or development has materially begun without cause.
  • Out-of-scope additions not initially agreed.

6. Intellectual property

Upon final payment, all custom code, design files, and content created specifically for your project are transferred to you, including:

  • Full source code and repository access
  • Design assets (Figma files where applicable)
  • Domain and hosting account ownership (transferred to your accounts)

Third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugin licenses) are licensed under their respective providers' terms.

We retain the right to display delivered work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

7. Client responsibilities

  • Provide content, brand assets, and feedback in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Designate a single primary point of contact for the project.
  • Make payments per the agreed schedule.
  • Ensure you have the right to use any content, images, or materials provided to us.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all client information shared with us during the engagement as confidential. We do not share, sell, or use your business information for any purpose other than delivering the agreed services.

9. Warranties & limitations

We deliver services with reasonable skill and care, and our work is provided as-is upon delivery. While we test thoroughly, we cannot guarantee:

  • Specific search engine rankings or traffic outcomes.
  • Compatibility with future browser, OS, or platform changes after delivery.
  • Uptime of third-party services (hosting, payment processors, plugins).

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the specific project, except where Indian law provides otherwise.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in writing if the other materially breaches these Terms and fails to cure the breach within 14 days of written notice. On termination, you pay for work delivered up to that point and we hand over all completed materials.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be addressed in good faith through direct discussion. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Parbhani, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. For active engagements, the version in force at the time of quote approval applies.
