Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026

StackZio ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at stackzio.in and provides web development services to clients across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are under Indian and applicable international data-protection law.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the data we need to deliver our services and improve our website:

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, business name (when you fill out a contact form, send us a WhatsApp message, or email us).
  • Project information — anything you share with us about your project (briefs, requirements, brand assets, content).
  • Payment data — handled by our payment processors (Razorpay, bank). We never store full card numbers or UPI credentials on our servers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent — collected via Google Analytics for site-improvement purposes.
  • Cookies — used by our analytics provider; you can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries, send quotes, and provide our services.
  • To process payments and issue invoices / GST documents.
  • To send project updates, milestone confirmations, and post-launch support communication.
  • To improve our website experience based on aggregated, anonymous analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party.

3. Where your data is stored

Our website is hosted on Vercel (servers may be in India, Singapore, or the US). Analytics data is stored by Google. Form submissions and emails are stored on Google Workspace and our internal CRM. All providers are compliant with major global data-protection standards.

4. Data retention

We retain client project data for as long as you remain a client plus a reasonable archival period (typically 3 years) for tax, dispute resolution, and customer support purposes. After that, your data is securely deleted upon request.

Marketing inquiry data is retained for 1 year unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Your rights

Under Indian data-protection law (and equivalent international frameworks), you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
  • File a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at stackzio.support@gmail.com. We respond within 7 business days.

6. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption across our website, store all sensitive data on servers behind authentication, and limit internal access to data on a need-to-know basis. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data with the same care we'd expect for our own.

8. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (social media, payment processors, blog references). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their own policies before sharing data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
