If you've started getting quotes for a website in Parbhani, you've probably noticed that every "web development company" sounds the same. Same vague pitch. Same WhatsApp profile picture of a laptop with a green progress bar. Same promise of "the best website at the lowest price."
After 200+ projects shipped from Parbhani, here's the practical filter we'd use if we were the buyer instead of the builder.
The 9-point filter
For each agency you're considering, score them out of 9. Anyone scoring under 6 is gambling with your business.
1. They show you live, real client work
Not Dribbble shots. Not Figma mockups. Live URLs you can visit right now.A real Parbhani agency has 5–10 live client sites they're proud to share. If they only show "example designs" or send screenshots, the work probably doesn't exist or doesn't belong to them.
2. The code is yours when they're done
You should walk away with the full source code, hosting credentials, and domain ownership. If the agency "keeps the code on their server" or insists you stay on their hosting forever, you're renting your own website. Walk away.
3. Price falls in the right range
Realistic 2026 ranges in Parbhani / Maharashtra:
- Below ₹999: template rebrand. Will look generic.
- ₹999 – ₹4,999: good landing page or starter site.
- ₹2,999 – ₹14,999: proper multi-page business website.
- ₹19,999 – ₹49,999: premium with admin / blog / animations.
- ₹50,000+: custom development or e-commerce only.
If a quote is 5x the upper end without a clear reason (like Shopify Plus or custom backend), they're padding. If it's 5x below, they're cutting corners somewhere — usually on SEO, mobile, or speed.
4. There's a real review milestone
Demand to see the site working before paying the full amount. Some Parbhani agencies (us included) start at ₹99 and only collect the rest after you approve the build. If the agency wants 100% upfront, you've lost your leverage the moment you pay.
5. They speak your language(s)
Marathi? Hindi? Both? Picking an agency in Parbhani over one in Bangalore should give you the language home-field advantage. If meetings drift into corporate-English jargon, that's a sign they don't actually understand your customer either.
6. The site loads fast (test their own site first)
Open pagespeed.web.dev and run their own homepage through it. If theirmobile score is below 70, they're going to ship you the same. The agency's own site is the loudest signal of what they'll build for you.
7. SEO is built in, not sold separately
On-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, schema, sitemap, robots.txt, image alt text) costs the agency zero extra time when done right from the start. Anyone billing it as a separate ₹15,000 line item is either marking it up or didn't plan to do it at all.
8. They reply on WhatsApp same-day
Test it: send a question on Friday afternoon, see if you get a reply by Saturday morning. Pre-sale responsiveness is the absolute best they'll ever be — post-sale gets worse, never better. If they're slow now, run.
9. They tell you what they can't do
Honest agencies have a no-list. "We don't do iOS apps." "We don't do enterprise CRMs." "We don't take projects under ₹2,999." Anyone who claims they can do everything is either lying or about to subcontract you to a freelancer in another city.
Red flags that override everything
Even if an agency scores 9/9 above, these will sink your project:
- WordPress with 15+ plugins. Will break. Will get hacked. Will be slow.
- "Lifetime free updates" promised in writing. No agency can sustain this — they'll either disappear or charge you eventually.
- No mention of mobile responsiveness. 80%+ of Indian web traffic is mobile. Non-negotiable.
- Refusal to provide references. Real agencies introduce you to 1–2 past clients on request.
- Sketchy payment methods. Anyone asking for crypto or unusual UPI handles is a scam.
The 7 questions every buyer should ask
- Can I see 3 sites you built in the last 6 months?
- Will you give me the source code on day one of build?
- What's your delivery timeline if we start today?
- What happens if I don't like the design — how many revisions?
- Is the price quoted final, or are there add-ons later?
- Do you handle SEO, hosting, and domain, or do I?
- What's the channel for support after launch — and for how long?
Hesitation on any of these is data. Confidence on all seven means they've thought about your problem before.
What about Bangalore / Mumbai agencies?
Outside agencies aren't worse, but they're different. They'll typically charge 3–5× more for the same scope, won't do site visits, and won't understand local Parbhani context (Marathi customers, regional payment habits, local festivals you might want a campaign around). Pick them for very technical or scale-out projects only.

Bottom line
The best web development agency in Parbhani isn't the cheapest, isn't the flashiest, and isn't necessarily the biggest. It's the one who:
- Shows you real, live work,
- Charges fair prices in writing,
- Lets you see the build before paying full,
- And replies when you message them.
The 9-point filter is just shorthand for those four things. Use it. Save yourself a six-month headache.
